25; early portrait painter and daguerrean
artist; ran photo. gallery in SF at least as
early as 65; by 67 gallery was at 504 Kearny
Street. Cobb was B. Prince Edward Island 41; 67
went to work for Edouart; worked for G.D. Morse
68-69; became partner in Edouart & Cobb, 69;
this lasted until at least 81.
