Baltzy who also worked alone in Montreal & Ottawa; no other ref. to John Hammond found.] [48] views of British Columbia. 71 accompanied Alfred Selwyn (Director of the Geographical Survey) in British Columbia, paid and equipped by Notman, but expenses paid by Canadian government; photos can be found in Notman albums of the 70s, and are sometimes wrongly attributed to Notman, who never went out west.
