Expertise

wall space is a fine art photography gallery featuring local and national talents. The gallery was born in 2004, now thriving in Pioneer Square’s historic Pioneer Building. wall space is a place where talent has a chance to grow, and the public can get an education in photography and the power of the medium to convey our history.

We look forward to expanding, seeing new stories, ideas and visions of our time.

A fine art photography gallery that goes beyond traditional silver gelatin process and looks toward the future of expression meshing both traditional and alternative techniques, wall space looks to expand the creative arts and work with a new breed of artist, photojournalist, storyteller and technician. The goal is to provide art that transcends its medium, not to make the technology the focus, but the image itself standing alone to provide the commentary about, for and with us.

Wall space started as a simple concept. Giving artists the opportunity to hang their vision, their dreams, hopes, ideas and stories on the wall. Let them have their say. This is what wall space is about. The gallery is who shot it, who created it. It’s about the artwork itself. The image has something to say, and wall space provides the opportunity to say it.
