Sarah Bernhardt (1844-1923) Sarah Bernhardt started her stage career in 1862 as a student with the Comedie-Francaise, the prestigious French theatre. She found fame around the stages of Europe and earned the title "The Divine Sarah". Bernhardt was also one of the pioneers of the silent movie, debuting in Hamlet in the film Le Duel d`Hamlet in 1900. With autograph and inscription to the Childs 1871.
