| Unidentified photographer Jews Wailing Place n.d. Film negative Private collection of James Morley LL/99857 (James Morley, 12 May 2020) The distinctive film negatives are from a Frena camera from the 1890s - it used a stack of notched cut film sheets and had a novel mechanism to pick a sheet from the stack, place it for exposure, and then move it into a pile of exposed sheets. Although the captions are reversed I believe from other images in the set that these are likely the correct way around. Digital positives from original negatives. Striking images for their time I feel.
