(EDWARD RUSCHA). Ruscha, Edward. EVERY BUILDING ON THE SUNSET STRIP. Los Angeles: Self Published, 1966 (1971). Second Edition. 8vo. Fan-fold Wrappers in Slipcase. Privately Printed Artists Book. Near Fine. One continuous accordion-fold page picturing both the North & South sides of Sunset Boulevard; composed of glued paper segments extending to 296 1/2 inches in length, housed in a white cardboard and silver Mylar slipcase. With the publisher's unprinted band laid in, as issued. A pristine copy of Ruscha's innovative photographic study of 60's Los Angeles architecture that follows the Sunset Strip from 8101 (the Jaguar dealership) to 9156 (Schwab's). Pandora's Box Lives! While still a most presentable copy, the insert has one soft crease and some minor soiling along its spine. The slipcase shows tiny chips at two of the corners, and a half-inch tear to the white paper along the bottom edge.004141
