Large grand tour album featuring the finest Italian made Micro Mosaic of the "Doves of Pliny" surrounded by a wide band of Malachite, all set into a polished black stone panel of either Marble, Onyx or Slate which in turn is framed by French Enameled Ormolu.The album was a collaboration between skilled European craftsmen.
Each CDV window is marked b.s.g.d.g. Patent "breveté sans garantie du gouvernement" (French: patented without government guarantee) & W.M. There are 37 pages accommodating 4 CDVs each for a total of 148. Then there are 6 pages holding 12 Cabinet Cards. The album including photos weighs approx. 6 kg.
