Photograph of a full length double portrait of the Imperial Chinese Commissioners, Kweilang, on the right, and Hwarhana. The two men are seated on chairs, facing towards the camera. They are posed either side of a table. The table is decorated with a cloth featuring a design of a heron and clouds. There is a screen on the right side of the photograph. The photograph was taken in Tientsin, now Tianjin, in China, on the date of the signing of the Treaty of Tientsin.

The photograph appears to be of an over-painted photograph.
