Image description:
Still life. Taxidermy cloven hoofed animal rearing, possibly a young Chamois. Situated on a wooden base with part of a log and branch. The animal has an upturned tail and no horns, suggesting it is the young of either a deer or goat related species. It has sturdy legs and hooves, with a large forehead and long ears. Eyes remain in situ and open.
