Haverhill 250th Anniversary Parade, Monument Square, 1890. The date is probably July 3rd. Spectators in foreground and background, parade on Main Street. Houses decorated with banners and American flags. Horse drawn wagon as a float passing from left to right, advertising [A. W.] Anderson, a Haverhill photographer. Three large photo portraits are seen on the side of the float. Round image, probably from early Kodak camera, photographer is probably Henry Joseph Rivers.

(Pers. comm. Dana Gee, Photograph Digitization Project Cataloger, Special Collections, Haverhill Public Library, 7 July 2018) "Henry Joseph Rivers, photographer who probably made the Anderson parade image. These negatives were in a separate group without his name on them, but the rest did have his name associated with the accession."
