This image is from Bunka Shashin-shu, the magazine published by the Tokyo-based photo group Shashin Bunka Kyokai. The publication was influenced by Stieglitz's Camera Work. The group held regular juried exhibitions that included work by leading Japanese pictorialists of the 1920s. Top selections were published their magazine. There were only three issues: June, August , and September of 1922. This is plate 38 from volume 3. Accompanied by a label with Japanese annotations. Terajima was a Kobe photographer.
