This view shows the inside of the arsenal and (facing the camera) General Mondragon (1859-1922), one of the conspiritors invloved in the coup d'etat against President Francisco I. Madero (1873-1913). The photograph is one of forty-three photographic prints from an album of the Mexican Revolution by Manuel Ramos (1874-1945) illustrating damage in Mexico City during the uprising in February, 1913, also called La Decena Tragica.
