Hand-coloured photograph of a full length portrait of Prince Leopold (1853-84) standing, facing three-quarters to the right. He poses with his left hand on the back of a nearby chair. He wears the costume of the sons of King Henry IV (in the play of Richard II), which he wore at the Bal Costume.
