This is one of the artists favourite works from the 1990s and shows...
 
"an image of almost an entire mature native Casuarina tree located in a rugged canyon west of Melbourne. It was exposed against the tree using the light of the full moon plus flash and took some 6 weeks (5-8 hrs a day) of post-development (Farmer's reducer) bleaching, chemical toning (for contrast & colour) and spotting to complete."
