(Beverly Wilgus, 12 March 2022) This is a cabinet card in our collection of a striking white tombstone with the inscription highlighted in black. It is in a London cemetery and gives us much more information than we usually have. The inscription is in memory of Daniel Boyce, who died May 5th, 1891 at the age of 27. To make the photograph of the grave marker even more personal a cabinet card portrait of the young man was placed in the frame.
