This is one of a series of photographs from a published volume documenting the tour the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, made of India in 1875-76. This tent, which was 72 feet by 60 feet and 20 feet high, was used by the Prince to hold state receptions during the military camp held at Delhi during his visit.
