Photograph of Raghuraj Singh, Maharaja of Rewah. He is sitting on a chair with his right foot on a small cushion and his right arm resting on the table beside him. He is wearing a heavily embroidered jacket, a long cloak, insignia and a jewelled crown. A long curved sword is leaning against his leg and he has two lines painted on his forehead.
 
This is one of a series of photographs from a published volume documenting the tour the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, made of India in 1875-76.
