The date of utilization printed on our boxes of Autochrome Plates gives but a minimum indication, beyond which plates may be used and will still yield good results during four or five months; in that effect, it is absolutely necessary to leave the emulsion of the plates in contact of the cardboard which accompanies them, until the time of development, and to keep boxes protected from heat and damp.
However, it is advisable not to order Autochrome Plates unnecessarily in advance, for under no circumstances shall they be taken back or exchanged.
