Vertical, black and white photograph. One view of the portrait of a bearded man wearing a suit. The photograph is encased in a bronze-colored metal preserver frame and mat decorated and engraved with floral, leaf, diamond, and circular designs. The back of the photograph depicts the following description in cursive: "April 27" 1863 Wm. D. Keedy clerk; absconded with $320 0/100 from U.S. Exprifo office St. Louis within a few days. gone to California [Illegible - Brownfield? Bromfield?]".
