Photograph of the mausoleum of Ranjit Singh. The mausoleum is in the Sikh architectural style and has a large central dome. There is a tower to the right and three people are standing on the grass in the foreground.
This is one of a series of photographs from a published volume documenting the tour the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, made of India in 1875-76. Included in the volume are a number of photographs of notable sites in the cities visited by the Prince.
