Photograph of Dogras in campaigning costume. There are six men arranged in a group, one seated on the floor and another standing on a staircase. All are wearing fur lined jackets and turbans and are holding a rifle. The building behind them has a window and a door on the second floor.
 
This is one of a series of photographs from a published volume documenting the tour the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, made of India in 1875-76. Included in the album are a group of photographs of local people.
