Photograph of Gaddis men dancing. There are eight men arranged in a row, with the six to the left facing each other in pairs with their arms arranged in different gestures. The man to the far right is crouched on the floor playing a small trumpet, while the man beside him to the left holds a drum. All are wearing jackets with thick belts and headdresses decorated with feathers. There is a building behind which is partially covered in ivy.

This is one of a series of photographs from a published volume documenting the tour the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, made of India in 1875-76. Included in the album are a group of photographs of local people.

Presented to Alexandra, Princess of Wales by her husband the Prince of Wales at Christmas 1876
