INDIGNANT DADS.
They Take Issue With the Boston Photo Car on a Question of Propriety.
If the proprietor of the "Boston Photo Car Company'' happens in Madera very soon again he will have to do some tall explaining, or hire a lawyer to do it for him.

This outfit visited Madera and stayed several weeks. It advertised a big cut in the price of work below that charged by the photographers of the town, and it soon had a run of trade. To advertise the excellence of its work the management placed a number of frames in the places of business about town, and these frames contained specimen pictures. One of these frames, containing the photos of a number of young ladies of reputable families of the town, was placed in a saloon, while in conjunction with it was placed some pictures of loose women well known in the community. A young man who knew the families of several of the young ladies, knew also who the women were, saw the picture and at once informed the fathers of the girls. They visited the saloon in a body and directed that the pictures of their daughters be delivered up to them, which was done. The other pictures were destroyed. The saloon man pleaded ignorance of whose pictures either were. The young ladies were kept in ignorance of the affair. There were some energetic imprecations on the head of the Boston Car man, who, luckily for himself, had left the town with his outfit.
