Working in the Field using a Portable Darkroom
2008, 4 October (uploaded to blog)

This afternoon I loaded up the VW and spent a few hours making plates at a park a few miles from my house. This marks the first time I've taken collodion on the road. I remembered all of the necessary equipment/supplies except the shotglass I use to measure developer! After a few ill fated attempts to tray develop by pouring developer directly from the giant bottle I thought to try developing in-hand - why didn't anyone tell me it was this easy! I'm throwing the trays away!
