View of Rome from the Pavilion in the Orti Farnese, on the Palace of the Cesars, including, the church & Convent of S. Francesco, on the site of the temple of Venus & Rome, the West Side of the Coliseum & Arch of Titus, S. Giovanni in Laterano, & Arch of Constantine. In the foreground a walled vineyard belonging to the Orti Farnesi, with sticks to support the vines, edged with trees. More modern housing beyond and to the left of the arch of Constantine.
