(Beverly Wilgus, 2 December 2022) In this William H. Rau stereo card from 1897 a little girl stands on a chair to reach a wall mounted telephone to send thanks to Santa Claus. Even if she could get a connection to the north pole how can Santa hear her when she is speaking into the ear piece?
