As a member of the Socialist Revolutionary Party, S. A. An-sky came in sight of the Department of Police: “Through human intelligence, it was found that Rappoport has an art studio in the town of Starokonstantinov and the shtetl of Polonno, Volhynia Province (in one of them, in Polonno, Yudovin works as an apprentice). ... Yudovin comes to Berdichev for the express purpose of buying glasses for artwork.”
