From a group of different views taken in Amiens by D'Urban printed in both salted paper and albumen prints, some dated 1854 and 1855, for the preparation of the portfolio "Amiens Moderne" published in 1856 by L. Bécu. In 1856 D'Urban deposited at the BNF (legal deposit of June 7, 1856) four photographs with a view of Saint Jacques, a view of the cathedral taken from Ducange deck and a view taken from rue Saint-Denis. "This initiative is to be classified among the few provincial attempts to provide facilities equivalent to several albums of photographs of Paris produced by Blanquart-Evrard or Elisabeth Hubert de Fonteny"
