| Antoine Claudet Portrait of a lady 1855 (ca) Daguerreotype, stereo Stereographica - Antique Photographica Courtesy of Bryan and Page Ginns (#15 / 100) LL/11020 The image is in excellent condition with original seal intact and housed in the original slip case with "Claudet" and the Royal Coat of Arms embossed in gilt on the exterior. Claudet is considered one of the early masters of Stereo Daguerreotypy. Although French by birth he practiced his art almost exclusively in London. His work is distinctive for it's high quality and superb tinting. Fine examples of his work are highly collectable.
