(Glenn Cornell Samson, 8 July 2021) This Variant, published by Wm. Mumler in 1865, shows the face clearly lifted from the earlier photograph, and artwork hair and collar added. MTL would not have had her photograph taken so soon after her husband's assassination, and with only one exception was apparently never photographed again
