Bark "Benjamin Tucker" at anchor in harbor in Honolulu. On her return passage from the Arctic, "Benjamin Tucker" encountered a storm which damaged her rigging. Captain Spencer commissioned this ambrotype depicting the damage to send to the vessel's owners. It is one of the earliest known photographs of an American whaleship.
