(Beverly Wilgus, 26 May 2022) This is an image made by Joan Netherwood for the book "Neighborhood a State of Mind" about the East Baltimore ethnic neighborhoods. Joan made the photographs along with two other women (also our friends) in a project that started in a Maryland Institute documentary photography class taught by Linda Rich. We were gifted many images by the three women who made the photographs.
