(photo) UTB-6 5.4 (no.102) LL/112299 Subject: Half-length portrait of an adult male with wavy hair and beard leaning against a column. He is wearing a dark-colored coat, waistcoat, and bow tie over a white collared shirt. Around his neck hangs a necklace with small elongated pendant and attached to his waistcoat hangs a chain connected presumably to a pocket watch.
This sixth plate daguerreotype is covered with a plain bronze nonpareil mat. The mat is covered with glass and rib-textured protector. The portrait is housed in a daguerreotype case made of wood and covered with brown pebbled leather with push button closure on right side. In the interior of the case, facing the daguerreotype, is a maroon velvet pad.
