D.R. Judkins operated out Seattle (1880-1884) and through Puget Sound with a floating studio he called "Judkins' Floating Sunbeam Gallery." It operated in the early 1880s and was a barge that he had towed. It came to British Columbia, Canada, in 1882. (Information provided by David Mattison, 21 July 2015).
