The Lavish "L'' series was the last significant series that photographer Don Jim completed in his lifetime. Despite her size, the model seems almost weightless. She often appears to be floating. Don accomplished this by building scaffolding above her and spending days lighting her to his satisfaction. There are several "Lavish "L" series. They range from straight gelatin silver prints to those with various degrees of solarization (Margo Jim, July 2008)
