A local Justice of the Peace (Porter Hall), mesmerized by his stereoview collection, is about to be interrupted by his wife to begin marriage ceremonies for the eloped couple Trudy Kockenlocker (Betty Hutton) and Norval Jones (Eddie Bracken) in Preston Sturges’ 1943 comedy The Miracle of Morgan's Creek (1943). Sturges must have felt this character’s absorption in his stereoviews identified the remote rural midwestern location of this wartime comedy.
