Other features indicated on the overlay are Te-Hape-o-toroa, Mount Hazard and Okaro Lake, near which is the south end of the great fissure. A horizontal scale of 4 miles is noted in faint pencil beneath the image, with a corresponding vertical scale of 11,500 feet in pencil to the right of the photograph.
