In this 19th century cartoon a photographer, as an aside he is meant to be the famous photographer Sarony, is telling a man with no chin why it is not a good idea to take a profile photograph. I call you attention to the posing stand/head rest in the background ready for the photograph about to be made. Is the man dead?
