Photograph of the school courtyard within the University of Salamanca. An arcade supported by carved pillars supports an upper mezzanine which features a balustrade decorated with classical urns. Standing in front of the third pillar on the left are two figures facing the viewer.
Image made using a paper negative. In the bottom left corner an inscription on the negative reads 'Clifford 1853'.
