Nine portraits have been arranged on a sheet in a decorative star-shaped pattern. Diamond-shaped photographs surround a central round one and the space in between has been decorated with gold paint, star and floral motifs. The studio portraits include men and women in a variety of Victorian indoor and outdoor dress. The central image is taken on the steps of a house.
