Louis Blériot (1872-1936) the French aviation pioneer with his model VIII Monoplane circa 1908, he went on be become the first person to fly across the English Channel in 1909 in his model XI.
From a large collection of glass stereoviews that belonged to Dr William Gardiner Anglin (1856 - 1934) who lectured at Queens University in Kingston, Ont.
