This Journal was established at the commencement of the year 1856, and has a very large and increasing circulation. Amateurs will find in it much original and useful Information; and no re-printed articles from the Journal of the Photographic Society.
 
Photographers are invited to contribute accounts of any matter of interest which may arise in the course of their experience; and Querists will find the Editor always ready to answer their questions to the best of his ability.
 
All communications to be addressed to the Editor, St. Brelade's Bay, Jersey.
