| Herbert Bayer Untitled 1930s (ca) Gelatin silver print 9 x 12 3/8 ins Galleria Martini & Ronchetti LL/33227 Herbert Bayer (1900-1985) was a graphic designer, trained at the Bauhaus with Moholy, who incorporated photographs, rather than drawings and paintings, into his work. Bayer constructed highly geometric studio compositions with a deep sense of plastic (three-dimensional) space, rather than linear space, that relates to Moholy's idea of fotoplastik.
