A contrived studio setting using artefacts as props, but a very early and rare image. The subject, dressed in possum skins (southeast Australia), holds an enormous sword club (Northern Queensland); to her left leans a very long spearthrower (Queensland); below that a small club, lil-lil (probably from Western New South Wales), rests on an angle against a parrying shield; a coiled basket lies on the ground to her right.
