An outstanding occupational image. We see an array of tools. He holds a frame with a cloth on an upper corner. He holds a hammer but with one finger points at the large volume on his knee-- is this a book on frame making? The other trouser knee is worn. The painted or real wood backdrop is itself made of frames. CDV size tintype.
