Image of the solar spectrum. Two paper labels flank the image on either side, beneath the cover glass. The strip showing the spectrum has diagrammatic lines and letters drawn on it. Latitude 37 10 N. Time occupied in exposure 15 minutes [then listed] A. Note that there is a gold card mount over the cover glass. The case hinges along the shorter side.
