"When I managed to track down Peter Fonda in New York he was wearing, what I thought to be, 'the squarest suit with drainpipe trousers'. After the session he asked me what I was doing in a few months time. Would I like to come to he West Coast where he would be shooting a road movie! I was returning to the UK so I said no! (I did not like motor bikes very much!)
Forty years later my daughter Charlotte persuaded me to meet her in London to see a film called "Ulee's Gold" "Bring your photo of Peter Fonda " she told me, "He is going to be there !" I gave him the print. In it he looked young and very handsome. He was rather pleased and said he would give it to his daughter Bridget.
I then turned and related my sad tale to the audience - they all groaned in unison." Angela Williams
