Photograph of the city of Malaga in southern Spain. The Cathedral tower is visible on the right, centre. On the far left is Mount Gibralfaro. A castle is located on top of the mountain.

With a heritage spanning nearly 3000 years, Malaga is one of the oldest cities in the world. The cathedral is built in the Baroque style. Gibralfaro castle was constructed by Yusuf I (1318-54) at the beginning of the 14th century.
