Elly Beinhorn (1907, 30 May - 2007, 28 November) was born - Germany, Hannover. German pilot noted for her long distance flights including a circumnavigation of the world. She married racing driver Bernd Rosemeyer (1936–1938) who was killed in a motor racing accident. Her writings, lecture tours and photographs funded her More... 
  
Vitaly Butyrin (1947, 30 May - ) was born - USSR, Lithuania, Kaunas. Lithuanian photographer who exhibited widely and his work was published in large numbers of press reports. 
  
John Kobal (1940, 30 May - 1991, 28 October) was born - Austria, Linz. A passionate collector of Hollywood detail and he left the Kobal Collection where the intention is to collect funds to encourage portrait photography. 
  
Robert Lyell (1835, 30 May - 1857, 3 July) was born.  
  
Albert Victor Nau de Champlouis (1833 - 1878) was born - France, Essonnes (Essonne), Chantemerle. Miltary offier who was involved in mapping in North Aftria and the Middle East. Took up photography in around 1857 and photographed in Lebanon and Syria. 
  
Slim Aarons (1916, 29 October - 2006, 30 May) died - US, NY, Montrose. Aarons, whose mantra was "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places", was known for his photographs of celebrities at play that appeared in magazines like LIFE, Town & Country and Harper‘s Bazaar
  
Ottomar Anschütz (1846, 16 May - 1907, 30 May) died - German Empire, Berlin. Experimented in taking photographs that capture animal motion - similar to Marey and Muybridge. He was an inventor as well as a photographer and patented the slit shutter in 1888. 
  
Jessie Tarbox Beals (1870, 23 December - 1942, 30 May) died - US, NY, New York City. American woman photographer. 
  
Lewis M. Rutherfurd (1816, 25 November - 1892, 30 May) died - US, NJ, Green Township, Tranquility. Took successful Daguerreotypes of the moon in the 1850s.
