John Blakemore (1936, 15 July - ) was born - UK, Coventry. British landscape and still life photographer whose work aims to show "the essential mystery of nature". He works simply but intensively, producing immaculate prints with a great intensity and inner spirituality.

Thérèse Bonney (1894, 15 July - 1978, 15 January) was born - US, NY, Syracuse. She recorded the plight of children that was caused by World War II first concentrating on the civilians on the Russian-Finnish front and later those in Western Europe. She was awarded the Order of the White Rose of Finland for bravery. 
  
Faustinus Deraet (1965, 15 July - ) was born - Belgium, Antwerp.  
  
Robert Miller (1961, 15 July - ) was born - US, CA, Newport Beach.  
  
George Robert Ballingall (1825, 25 December - 1868, 15 July) died.  
  
William Dassonville (1879, 20 June - 1957, 15 July) died - US, CA, San Francisco. American West Coast pictorialist photographer. Although he took portraits early in his career, he is now known for his photographs of the California landscape, especially of San Francisco‘s waterfront and bay and Yosemite.
